Two sets of blades around a centimetre apart to allow the swift cutting of regular sized cunks of worm.
Ingenius, if not a little nasty.
I will NEVER chop up a worm with them..and are worms really that long that they need a special pair of scissors to speed up the job?

Bought from the antique man on Northwich market, he said it dates back to the Civil war,1640. He found it himself with a metal detector at Acton near Nantwich. After I had handed over the one new pound it cost he said "you never know, that might have killed someone!" which is a rather nasty thought.

I have been really ill will a sore throat and cough, which caused me to search the medicine cabinet one night in desparation to find some cough mixture and a spoon..I found these four spoons, dating back to when Archie was a baby and had Calpol. Four variations on the same spoon. (I realise they break the metal object rule, but sometimes plastic objects can qualify..)

Found on a boot sale at Witton Albion football club, for 50 pence. The man who sold it to me said he didn't think anyone would buy it and almost threw it in the bin. It really does prove the old saying "ones mans rubbish is another womans treasure".
ICI used to own the factory in Northwich, so not only is this an interesting metal object, it is a piece of Northwich history.

The very nice man who sold me all this for 50 new pence told me how he keeps an old one pound note, which every christmas he puts in his wallet when he goes to the pub with his brother..when it comes to paying for his round he fetches it out and says "Blimey when was the last time I opened this?".. Hilarity all round..I bet they look forward to that every year.

A wonderful tin Archie gave me for my birthday. (found on a stall at a steam rally in Daresbury) Such a lot of information and lists of its uses, it is basically a piece of waterproof cloth you can cut to shape and glue over holes. So well packaged and marketed..makes me feel you could sell anything.

Found on the Knutsford car boot sale today for £3.50.
A bike lamp issued to ARP (Air Raid Precautions) Wardens during WW2. The idea was to stop enemy aircraft seeing you, as the light was directed down onto the road. The man who sold it to me said an old chap told him that he had used one during the war and all it did was light up the front tyre a little bit..and you couldn't really see where you where going.

Two keys found at different times ans places this year.
The number 7 was found on an antique stall in Northwich Memorial hall for £1.50 a few months ago. The one on the right was found at a boot sale in Weaverham for 50 pence recently. Both have the capability of swivelling on the hanger to allow you to wind up your watch whilst leaving it attached to the chain.

The needles are gold in colour and still look very sharp. The tin however is rather dented and rusty, and somehow looks better in the photo than in reality.

To connect to the current - turn the projecting knob to the right. To disconnect, turn knob to the left.
In order to make battery last longer, it is better to remove it out of the Comb when not in use, also if carried in handbag, it is better that the comb does not come into contact with other metal objects.
To take battery out remove projecting cap.

I remember when we changed from shillings to new pence..I was at primary school. I can remember being very grateful for the change as I could never get the hang of my twelve times table..still havn't. I clearly remember thinking , thank goodness I never have to learn that.

Another wonderful object sent to me by Angelica (I do not know how she can part with these wonderful things).
I have many cards of snap fasteners (poppers) but this is the only one I have where they are stored in a tin "TUBE"
