Pot Menders

British Made
I found these on Brick Lane market in London over 10 years ago.
They were made as a make do and mend during wartime.
Made of two layers of metal sandwiches a thin layer of cork.
for repairing leaks
POTS, SAUCEPANS, KETTLES, BUCKETS, BOWLS, BATHS, JUGS.
To be fitted the same as on the card.

One of my favourite books is The Pan Galactic Pot Healer.
Two points if you can find out who wrote it.
I wonder if he got his inspiration from these clever artefacts.

Blimey you are quick..the spud guns are new on and a comment almost straight way!
No I have never tried the pot menders...I should imagine they would work to a fashion....my pots have never got that bad though.

No Pans involved in the pot healing Roger. It was the same chap who wrote "Do Andrews Grin Like Electric Ships".
The Glimmung are a race of beings who are a cross between a bicycle and a whirlpool bath. They eat the flippers of bagatelle games and live happily under the memory nodules of Venusian staplers.
