Candle Holder

Candle Holder
Originally uploaded by a1scrapmetal
On a day out to Lillehammer (we were staying in Hamar) we found a lovely shop that sold a mixture of real and mock antiques.
On the counter were these very old Xmas candle holders.
The lady there didn't know how much they were and saidshe would try and find out if we could come back in an hour.
I dragged Michael and Archie back to the shop through the snow as I was obcessed with buying them...
and to my delight they only cost 30 Krona each...(about £3)..which for Norway is cheap..
I got three and gave one to Esther who came up with a much better use for it.
Both holders have a ball and socket joint which allows them to swivvel...bit of a fire hazard on a tree though.

Hi Hazel

if you'd be good enough to visit my blog at
www.strengthweekly.com you'll find a post titled 'Scrap' in which I mention your excellent site. Further to that I'd be delighted if you were to consider coming to give a presentation at one of my Peachy Coochy Nites, which are described in a later post titled 'Peachy'.
thank you

David
