Souplex and EVE
Two objects found in the same sewing box on a stall at Hartford bootsale (50 pence the two).
The Razor blade holder has "Souplex" stamped on it.
The needle threader , as well as saying
"NEEDLE THREADER, EVE"
also has
"MADE IN ENGLAND"
stamped in very small letters..

My Grand Father used to use a souplex Razor Blade Holder.
he had a Farmstead & used the Blade Holder & Blade to Castrate Pigs, horrid I know but I still have the one my Grand Father used, I was present many a time & remember the event clearly.
Bit gory I know but I thought I would comment all the same.
