Suspender
I found this (just the one) in a cupboard I was clearing out yesterday.
Its a good old solid suspender...I imagine you needed two or three per leg.
I love the "LIFT" instruction printed on it.
Its adjustable and looks pretty strong...
Foundation garment attachments were made to last then.

Decorative Cutters PLG
"I SAW THE TIN BOX AND BOUGHT IT - THEN OPENED IT..WAS ALL A BIT RUSTY . A LITTLE D-RUST PRIMER ON IT...
THATS IT NOW .
ALL HANDMADE! FASCINATING!
IMAGINE TODAY'S COSTS, IF YOU LET IT MAKE, IF YOU CAN FIND SOMEONE WHO CAN.
A TREASURE.."
With thanks to PLG for another lovely piece for my Windowledge Museum and blog.

Thimble (PLG)
I really like how the patterns on thimbles are there to give the needle grip but they look so good.
and the rim prevents the needle slipping into the finger.
One of the simplest designs and yet one of the most effective.

Bendy Spoon
Time on the blog for a humourous interlude.
I found this spoon in a joke shop on Llandudno pier.
It was VERY windy and we dived inside the vey small booth for a break from the battering wind.
We spent so long in the tiny shop I felt I had to buy something.
and this looked like my best option.
The cartoon explains how it works...there is a hinge just above the cup of the spoon that tips the contents into your lap.(or in this case..cleavage).
MADE IN CHINA.
